I muted the group, and my ears became completely clear, and I could even hear my own heartbeat: is it really fear of missing out, or fear of seeing things incorrectly… In the past, I kept an eye on those “smart money addresses” and “label clustering,” thinking I had opened a heavenly eye. To be honest, it’s just a bunch of probability games. Behind the addresses could be teams, custodians, agents, or even coordinated actors. Changing the shell of the same transaction makes it a new narrative again.

Recently, it’s become popular to interpret ETF capital flows tied to U.S. stock market risk appetite. When crypto rises, people say “risk is back,” and when it falls, they say “risk appetite has collapsed.” Listening to this for a long time, my brain automatically starts completing the storyline, making it especially easy to act impulsively. After muting, I only remember two things: why I entered, and where I plan to exit. Labels can be referenced, but don’t treat them as beliefs… Anyway, my paper hands are more reliable than pattern recognition for taking profits.
