Lately, when checking on-chain data, I often feel like there's a "lag," but it's not necessarily your network connection... Many times, it's the indexer/Subgraph behind the scenes catching up on blocks, rebuilding indexes, or RPCs being rate-limited. Nodes, in essence, also need to queue for service, especially when everyone is frantically querying the same popular contract, which becomes even more obvious. Now I tend to wait a few more seconds on the dashboard or switch to a different RPC/multiple data sources to cross-check, so I don't get scared by a temporary blank and make reckless moves. By the way, on the L2 side, there's daily chatter about TPS, fees, and subsidies. I think it's more important to first stabilize these foundational infrastructures clearly, or else data stalls will just lead to emotional trading. What I fear missing the most isn't actually opportunities, but patience.
