Just saw that Bank of Montreal tapped Joe Kostandoff to co-lead their equity capital markets division. He's coming over from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, which is interesting timing since Peter Miller's stepping into a vice-chair role after leading the division for years. Feels like a pretty significant reshuffle in their ECM team. Wonder if this signals any bigger shifts in their capital markets strategy or just a natural succession move. Kostandoff bringing his experience from CIBC should shake things up a bit.
