On March 20th, new progress was made in the Phase II expansion project of Fuzhou Changle International Airport. The on-site verification test flight of the new second runway at Fuzhou Changle International Airport was successfully completed. Once the runway is officially put into operation, Fuzhou Changle International Airport will enter dual-runway operation. The on-site verification test flight is an essential and critical step before the new runway of the airport is put into service. This verification test flight was conducted using a Boeing 787 aircraft, aiming to comprehensively inspect the flight procedures and supporting systems of the Phase II expansion project at Fuzhou Changle International Airport. During the nearly three-hour test flight, the flight crew strictly followed civil aviation technical standards, conducting precise and comprehensive assessments of core facilities such as flight procedures, communication, navigation, surveillance equipment, and approach lighting systems. The verification results show that all technical indicators of the flight procedures for the Phase II expansion project at Fuzhou Airport meet industry standards. (CCTV News)
