Just noticed something interesting about the global silver market situation. Been tracking supply numbers and it looks like we're heading into a pretty tight year - the deficit's supposed to widen by around 15%, hitting 46 million troy ounces. That's six years straight of shortfalls now.

What caught my eye is how depleted inventories have gotten. Since 2021, we've seen roughly 762 million troy ounces pulled from global stockpiles. Meanwhile, physical demand is picking up - coins and bars are expected to jump 18% while overall supply might actually dip by 2%. That's the kind of imbalance that usually gets people's attention.

The math here is pretty straightforward when you look at it: less supply, more demand for physical, and inventories already running thin. Not sure how long this dynamic holds, but it's definitely something worth keeping an eye on if you're following commodity markets.
