Actually, everyone understands that the so-called "on-chain viewing" is often just the layer that others look at for you... A few days ago, I was chasing a transfer and waited for a long time; the block was already out, but the wallet/browser was still spinning. It wasn't until later that I realized: if any of the nodes, RPC, or index queues are delayed or acting up, what you see will be late or even incorrect.

So now, when I see a cross-chain bridge being hacked again and causing a fuss, I actually slow down even more. I switch RPCs twice, then check on another browser. I'd rather earn a little less than be misled by "fake real-time" data and get caught up in the rush. After that one oracle price spike, everyone kept saying "wait for confirmation," which is basically admitting: the on-chain data is real, but the entry point isn't necessarily true. Anyway, when the market heats up, I just reduce my positions first and stay calmer.
