CoinWorld News reports that on April 20th, LayerZero released an incident investigation report stating that the $2.9 million attack on KelpDAO was carried out by North Korea's Lazarus group.

The attacker compromised two RPC nodes and launched a DDoS attack on the remaining nodes.
LayerZero also accused Kelp of ignoring multiple validator recommendations.
