just realized i've been overpaying for burgers this whole time lol. was looking at fast food prices and apparently there's way cheaper options than mcdonald's that nobody talks about. like five guys charges $11.58 for a small combo but you actually get almost 50% more burger plus double the fries - so it's kind of a steal if you do the math. burger king's cheeseburger is only $5.49 and tastes better according to reviews, which is wild because mcd's is supposedly the go-to for cheap eats. then wendy's hits different at $4.64 for their combo - smaller portions but you get more fries than mcd's while paying less. honestly the cheapest fast food cheeseburger deal i found was sonic at $1.99 for their value meal, and you get a junior burger plus two chicken wraps. mcdonald's can't even compete with that. been thinking about switching up my usual order because the cheapest fast food cheeseburger options are literally everywhere if you know where to look. inflation's been brutal so this kind of comparison actually matters now. anyone else been noticing this or am i late to the game?
