Lately, I've been hearing everyone complain about "the chain being slow again," and I want to say something not very nice: what you see as "on-chain" is often just someone else relaying it for you. The RPC connected to your wallet, the indexer your browser/data site uses, and the node synchronization status—if any one of these gets stuck, you'll think the transaction didn't go through, the balance didn't change, or the airdrop didn't arrive... but it's really just delayed information, not the chain pretending to be dead.

New L1/L2 projects boost TVL with incentives, and I understand why old users complain about "mining, selling, and dumping" (to be honest, I also envy those who got in on the first wave), but don’t rush to click links or sign transactions recklessly. During times like these, you're more likely to be tricked into giving unlimited permissions. My current habit is: when I notice something abnormal, I first switch to a different RPC or check multiple data sources before deciding whether to proceed. Better to be slow than to give away your permissions.
