Hainan: Report illegal gambling and receive a reward of up to 100k yuan

Hainan Provincial Public Security Department and other departments issued the “Hainan Province Illegal Lottery Reporting Reward Measures (Trial)”, which will come into effect on April 1, 2026. The measures stipulate that reporters must report with their real names and provide preliminary evidence. The reward amount is determined based on the nature of the case and the level of assistance in apprehending suspects, with a maximum of 100k yuan. Reporters can report through multiple channels, and relevant departments will strictly keep the reporter’s information confidential and punish retaliatory behaviors according to law. (CCTV News)
