The People’s Government of Xi’an City issued the “Implementation Plan for Effectively Reducing Logistics Costs Across Society in Xi’an City,” which proposes promoting the digital and green transformation and upgrading of logistics.
Improve the hardware and digitalization level of logistics operating entities and activities, promote new infrastructure construction such as big data, 5G, and BeiDou satellite navigation systems, support the construction of digital logistics infrastructure, and advance projects like the Xi’an JD Logistics Asia No. 1 Logistics Park equipment upgrade and renovation project, the airport smart cold chain storage base, and Shaanxi Auto Tonghui Logistics Digital Warehouse and Distribution Platform.
Strengthen the application of new transportation equipment and smart products such as intelligent connected vehicles, low-altitude aircraft, and industrial robots, support the construction of smart customs supervision zones at airports, and promote the opening of road rights for express delivery unmanned delivery vehicles.
Carry out benchmarking and standardization actions for green logistics enterprises, promote the implementation of carbon emission accounting in the logistics field, and support green upgrades and renovations of logistics parks, storage facilities, and transportation tools.
Encourage the greening, standardization, reduction, and recycling of express packaging, and promote direct shipping of e-commerce express deliveries in their original packaging.
