so i just found out dogs can actually eat cucumber and honestly it's kind of perfect? like low calorie, tons of water, basically a healthy snack that your dog probably won't even care about lol. been looking for treats for my pup that won't add weight and apparently this is the move. just gotta remember the 10% rule - treats including cucumber should only be like 10% of their daily calories. also cut them into bite-sized pieces because apparently some dogs will just inhale anything whole. the vet said cucumber skin is fine too and has extra nutrients but obviously wash it first. my dog seems to actually like the crunch which is wild. if you're trying to get your dog to eat healthier or just need a cheap treat option, letting your dog eat cucumber seems like a solid choice. anyone else's dog into this or am i the only one
