Lately, I’ve really been hit with information overload—there’s a whole bunch of screenshots and KOL long-form posts bombarding the group chat, and in the end, the people who impulsively place orders have to take the blame themselves. To put it simply, group chat messages are like gossip in a public square, and KOLs are like hosts that keep the rhythm going—neither of them can be responsible for you pressing “confirm.” Even more absurd is that everyone, on the one hand, is cursing miners/validators for taking too much and complaining that MEV front-running leads to unfair ordering, and on the other hand, they’re still chasing after the same post on X/Twitter and asking, “Can I still get in now”… I also get the urge to act, but right now I trust the data more: at least you can verify what actually happened on-chain, unlike intuition, which is easy to get pulled along by emotions and the vibe in the group. Anyway, I’ve set a rule for myself: when I see hot topics, I mute the group chat for ten minutes before deciding—impulsiveness drops by half.
