Just saw Fossil Group had some leadership shake-up. Kosta Kartsotis, who was running things as CEO, stepped down and they brought in Jeffrey Boyer as interim CEO instead. Interesting timing honestly. The stock actually popped a bit on the news - closed up about 1% on Wednesday and then jumped another 8.5% in after-hours trading. People seem to like the change? Kartsotis is staying on through September 2024 to help with the transition, then consulting until next year. They also made Kevin Mansell the new Chairman. The board's already hunting for a permanent CEO, so looks like this is just a temporary move while they figure out their next permanent leader. Kosta Kartsotis staying in an advisory role probably means it wasn't a messy situation at least. Curious to see who they bring in for the permanent gig - could be internal or external candidates according to the announcement.
