Just caught that CIBC is making international money transfers way easier now—they've added Visa Direct to their GMT service, so you can literally send funds in minutes to debit cards or up to 48 hours to credit cards across 80+ countries. No transfer fees either, which is pretty solid considering how much fx costs usually eat into these txn.

The interesting part is you just need the card number, name and address—way simpler than the old process. They're basically letting clients use CIBC credit cards for this too, so you can still earn return rewards while sending money abroad. CIBC's been running their Global Money Transfer since 2015, so they've had time to figure out the foreign exchange side of things.

Analysts seem bullish on CM—consensus is Strong Buy with targets around C$165, implying decent upside. Makes sense if they're making banking smoother for clients, especially with international rev opportunities in remittance corridors. Curious if other banks follow suit with similar txn speeds.
