Just been looking at European bank ETFs and honestly there's been some interesting movement lately. A lot of fund managers have been quietly building positions in European financials, and you can see it reflected in some of these funds that have been quietly outperforming.

If you're thinking about getting some European bank exposure through ETFs, there are a few worth checking out. The iShares MSCI Europe Financials ETF (EUFN) has been one of the better performers, with solid holdings like HSBC, Allianz, and Credit Suisse. The fund's relatively small but it's been picking up assets, which is usually a good sign when early movers are getting in.

There's also the First Trust STOXX European Select Dividend Index Fund (FDD) - not purely focused on banks but financials make up a huge chunk of it. What caught my eye is the valuation metrics and that yield sitting around 6 percent range. Heavy exposure to UK and Switzerland banks, which makes sense given those markets.

Another option is the SPDR S&P International Financial Sector ETF (IPF), though it's smaller and more global. The European banking angle is still there with solid exposure to UK, Switzerland, Germany and France.

The broader point is that European bank ETFs seem to be getting more attention from serious fund managers, so worth keeping on your radar if you're building a diversified portfolio with international exposure.
