Recently, I've come across a bunch of social mining and fan token stuff, and someone always says "attention is mining." It sounds a bit uncomfortable to me: attention is indeed valuable, but it's also the easiest to be taken and exploited. I now basically treat airdrop interactions as drinking tea, first taking a moment to confirm: is the link correct, is the authorization too outrageous, is it something I must do. I prefer less participation feeling rather than exposing my wallet as a billboard just for a "possible" list.

As for FOMO... honestly, it's just setting a "long-term" standard for myself. My idea of long-term here isn't a grand narrative like a year, but more like about a quarter: in these three months, am I still willing to use this chain, this set of products, or am I just doing it for screenshots and check-ins? If I can keep using it, I’ll gradually interact; if not, I’ll let it go. Missing out is just paying tuition. At least don’t exchange your sense of security for excitement.
