Recently, I saw a bunch of social mining, points, badges, and identity tags again... Basically, it's about making you use your time to exchange for "potentially useful" things. Don't get caught up in it; your time is your capital. If you deplete it, even if they give you candy later, it won't be enough to make up for it.
A few days ago, I did a very old-fashioned thing: set a reminder for myself + a daily limit, and I log out when the time is up. If I don't finish, I don't make it up. At first, I was itching to keep going—thinking "just five more minutes and I get another point." But then I found that my mind actually became calmer, I could sleep at night, and I didn't feel as eager to prove myself right the next day.
By the way, the NFT royalty dispute also seems pretty similar: creators want income, the market wants liquidity, and the easiest ones to squeeze are ordinary people’s attention and transaction fees. Don’t treat badges as self-worth; whether you get them or not doesn’t affect your next stop-loss. First, understand your life, then talk about identity.
