Just saw Hope Bancorp brought in Julianna Balicka as their new CFO, effective immediately. She's coming from East West Bank where she was handling investor relations and corporate finance stuff. Interesting move for them.
Balicka takes over from David Malone who stepped in temporarily back in early 2023 to keep things running. Malone's staying through late April to help with the transition, which seems like a solid plan honestly.
