Lately, I’ve been a bit exhausted from watching governance voting. They say it's "community decision-making," but in the end, a bunch of people just delegate their votes, leaving only a few big addresses flipping back and forth, and who exactly is the governance token really governing… Honestly, it’s like handing over the remote control to someone else and pretending you’re involved.

What’s even more amusing is that when large transfers or transactions happen on the chain, or when exchanges move their hot and cold wallets, everyone starts interpreting it as “smart money is coming,” but often it’s just those people adjusting their positions or preparing for voting, casually moving addresses around, with little to do with your or my fate.

What I fear most isn’t losing money, but realizing that the rules were never meant for ordinary people from the start. Anyway, all I can do now is: don’t delegate your votes randomly, click on proposals you genuinely care about, and don’t mistake “participation” for a sense of security. That’s all for now, time to go refill my coffee.
