So Nokia made a big leadership switch last year - Pekka Lundmark stepped down as CEO back in March 2025 after leading the company since 2020. Didn't really hear much noise about it at the time, but they brought in Justin Hotard from Intel to take over. Hotard's got like 25+ years in tech, ran Intel's Data Center & AI group before this, and also had stints at HPE and NCR. Pretty solid resume for a major telecom company transition. What's interesting is Pekka Lundmark stuck around as an advisor through the end of 2025, so it wasn't like a total clean break. The new guy's based in Finland now, running things from Nokia's Espoo headquarters. Wonder how the shift from Intel's AI focus to Nokia's network infrastructure plays out - seems like a pretty different vibe.
