Just saw that Rep. Virginia Foxx took a pretty rough hit in the markets last month, down about $1.6M. According to Quiver Quantitative's tracking, her net worth sits around $5.3M as of late June 2025, which puts her at 139th among members of Congress. Not bad, but that recent loss is definitely noticeable.

What caught my eye was looking at her trading history. The data shows she's made some significant moves over the years - sold $250K of ADM back in May 2022 (that stock is now down 38%), but also dumped $250K of PM in March 2021 that's up 105% since. Mixed results overall. She's got about $921K in publicly tracked assets, so there's a decent chunk of her portfolio we can actually see.

On the salary and fundraising side, her Q1 2025 disclosure showed $231.6K raised, with about 89% coming from individual donors. She spent $141K and had $3.1M cash on hand. For a member of Congress, that's a solid fundraising position. Interesting to see how Virginia Foxx's compensation and campaign finances stack up against her investment performance - sometimes the steady income from her Senate position probably looks pretty good compared to market swings like this month's loss.
