Just saw that Rep. Norcross pushed through the FY26 NDAA totaling $882.6B - pretty significant move for national defense. What caught my attention though is his net worth situation. Donald Norcross net worth is estimated around $6.5M according to recent financial tracking, which apparently ranks 122nd in Congress. Interesting that he's securing major defense funding while having that kind of portfolio.
The bill itself seems solid - 3.8% pay raise for military personnel, streamlined procurement processes, and he managed to get an amendment through restoring collective bargaining rights for DoD employees. South Jersey gets some solid investments out of this too, which is where his district is.
His recent fundraising numbers show $257.5K disclosed in Q2, with about 46% from individual donors. The guy's sitting on $1.9M cash on hand according to latest filings. Between his personal wealth and political fundraising, Donald Norcross net worth reflects someone pretty well-positioned in the political sphere. Not sure if that's typical for defense-focused congressmen or if there's something to read into there. Anyone else tracking these numbers?
