Just saw that AAR CORP appointed Sharon Purnell as their new Chief Human Resources Officer. Sharon Purnell came from Stepan Company where she was handling the same role, and apparently did a solid job on talent retention and cost management there. Over 20 years in HR leadership across different industries, so she's got serious experience. The stock was down a bit on the news, closed at $48.98 or so. Interesting timing for aviation services to bring in someone with her background. Wonder if they're planning some major restructuring or just looking to strengthen the HR side. These kinds of C-suite moves usually signal something brewing internally.
