Unrealized losses really bother people more than unrealized gains and keep them awake. Basically, the brain treats "potential loss" as an actual loss. During the day when checking the market, I might be stubborn, but at night when I close my eyes, I start reviewing: why didn't I cut losses earlier, why did I add more positions... On the other hand, when I have unrealized gains, I stay very Zen, afraid of giving it back, and I simply can't believe it's really mine.

These days, that main chain is about to upgrade/maintain, and the group is guessing whether the ecosystem will collectively move. I actually don't buy into the "hearing about migration" story; I prefer to look at the chain: whether funds have already moved out of the bridge, whether the interaction volume of a few top contracts has plummeted, whether LPs have withdrawn, and then add a timestamp. Emotions can stir up all night, but data is usually very honest. As for myself... when I have unrealized losses, I cut my positions down to a level where I can sleep peacefully—don't hold on stubbornly, life is more important.
