Just realized there's actually money to be made from walking apps. Like, actual rewards, not just those fake motivational points nobody cares about. I've been looking into a few and some are legit—Evidation tracks your steps across like ten different fitness apps and you can cash out at 10k points. There's also Charity Miles if you want your walks to actually mean something, and StepBet where you basically bet on yourself to hit step goals over six weeks.

The payouts aren't huge, obviously—we're talking gift cards and occasional cash, maybe $75 a month if you're serious about it. But if you're already walking anyway, why not get paid for it? Apps like Paceline and PK Rewards work with your Apple Watch or Fitbit, so it's pretty seamless. Even just for the motivation to actually get out there instead of scrolling, these get paid for walking apps might be worth trying.

Honestly seems like free money if you're the type who needs that extra push to stay active. Anyone else using these?
