Lately I've been struggling again: should I go with the mainnet or Layer2? Honestly, the mainnet is like rush hour on the subway—gas fees shoot up and my heart starts racing; but Layer2 offers a much smoother experience—just a few clicks and it's done. The only annoyance is the cross-chain transfers back and forth, always feeling like my money is "floating" on the road, and my OCD makes me keep checking whether the funds have arrived.

My compromise is a bit simple: for small, frequent transactions, I try to use Layer2 to avoid paying high fees every time; but for long-term storage or sensitive permissions, I stick to the mainnet—slow is okay, at least I feel more at ease. Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are everywhere. During times like these, I don’t want to rush and click randomly—I’d rather spend an extra minute carefully checking the address and signature details... Anyway, avoiding unnecessary panic helps me sleep better.
