Good morning, all investment friends! A new week, a new beginning! Looking back at the midnight market, Bitcoin hovered from around 76,000 near the high point and gradually declined to the early morning low of about 73,669. Ethereum followed Bitcoin’s movement, peaking at around 2,340 early this morning, then pulling back to the early low of about 2,250, touching bottom and slightly rebounding. Currently, Bitcoin is fluctuating around 74,000, and Ethereum is around 2,280. Our precise bearish outlook from early this morning was fulfilled: in real trading, we entered short positions on Bitcoin at 75,242 and Ethereum at 2,310, and exited at 74,113 and 2,253 respectively. The Bitcoin short gained 1,000 points, and the Ethereum short gained 50 points. All strategies were publicly shared across the network in advance, rejecting post-hoc reactions.
From the current market situation, the weekly chart shows a rebound followed by a decline, with a long upper shadow, indicating a clear need for adjustment at the weekly level. The adjustment space at the weekly level is often relatively large. This is both a structural technical adjustment and a result of the rapid shift from bullish profit-taking at high levels to a quick turn to bearish and sideways movement. As the daily and weekly charts both close lower, the likelihood is that this week will continue with a weak correction trend. The daily chart has already formed two large bearish candles, completing the trend shift from bullish to bearish. The current market no longer belongs to the category of bullish correction. During the continuous weakening trend, it is clear that a bearish trend has been established. The 4-hour chart shows a wave of unilateral weak decline, retracing all previous gains, with bullish upward space fully suppressed. After breaking below the midline, the bearish trend accelerates further. Therefore, in short-term trading today, the strategy remains to short on rebounds.
Monday morning Bitcoin: short in the 74,300–74,800 range, target around 73,000
Monday morning Ethereum: short in the 2,280–2,300 range, target around 2,200
