Lately, the narrative around parallel/sharding has heated up again, and the community feels like they're watching a TV series: testnet incentives, token expectations, and various guesses about whether the mainnet will issue tokens... It's quite lively, but I still can't help but focus first on asset security and exit strategies. Honestly, whether you can get your assets back, and if there are backup options when facing lag or bridge issues, are more real concerns than the "story."
My current habit is: the fewer permissions I grant, the better; keep wallets separate; before participating, think through the worst-case scenario for withdrawal; don’t wait until emotions run high and find the exit blocked. Anyway, no matter how fast the narrative shifts, it all ultimately comes back to those few old questions.
What I fear most is not missing out on opportunities, but the door to exit closing.
