Recently, when the market heats up, I also get itchy and want to chase, and there's only one thought in my mind: Is it the "information" I just saw that’s pushing me to add to my position, or is it the emotion in the group that’s driving me up... Especially these past two days, someone has been talking about certain regions increasing taxes and compliance, tightening and loosening regulations at different times, and as the expectations for deposits and withdrawals change, everyone's mindset starts to drift, making it easier to get caught up.

When I was a beginner, I always misunderstood: a rise means "smart people are buying in advance," and I just follow along. Now I understand that: many times, it’s just emotions passing the baton, and the information doesn’t change much, but the position size keeps getting heavier.

Anyway, now when I want to chase, I first pause for five minutes, take a sip of water, and try to clearly write down "why I’m buying" before acting; if I can’t write it out, I just pretend I didn’t see it, and it’s okay to just give up.
