I now tend to reflexively stop when I see "unlimited authorization"... In the past, I found it troublesome, so I would just click swap and leave. As a result, my wallet was still linked to a bunch of old protocols, which basically meant leaving the keys at someone else's door, while I was still sleeping soundly.
Recently, the group has been talking about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and rumors of "de-pegging." When everyone's emotions flare up, they want to act quickly. I tend to slow down a bit: first, check all authorizations, revoke what I can, especially unused contracts. This habit is a bit like checking the doors and windows before bed. It’s not cool, but it helps me stay calm—because at least I know I won’t wake up to a "historical authorization" surprise.
