Recently looking at a bunch of RWA on-chain projects, the liquidity on the page looks quite lively, and the pools are also showing depth... but a phrase keeps popping into my head: how exactly can you redeem this? Frankly, smooth on-chain transactions don't necessarily mean you can easily exchange that batch of assets offline. A "window period/manual review/limit/suspension" clause can pull you back from instant transactions to queuing at the bank counter.
It feels a bit like the dispute over NFT royalties: everyone wants "the best of both worlds," creators want to take more, and the secondary market wants it to be smoother; with RWA, everyone wants to sell "like a coin," but the underlying assets are "slow and traditional." Now I check the redemption clauses before doing tasks, or else after getting the airdrop, I find the exit is in another universe... let's see.
