CITIC Securities takes over Wuhan Battery Technology Company under WeNeng
The Tianyancha app shows that recently, WeNeng (Wuhan) Battery Technology Co., Ltd. underwent an industrial and commercial change. The original shareholder, Wuhan WeNeng Battery Assets Co., Ltd., withdrew, and CITIC Securities was added as a wholly owned shareholder. At the same time, Lai Xiaoming stepped down as legal representative, director, and general manager; Liu Yong took over as legal representative and director; and Wang Zhou took over as general manager. The company was established in October 2025. Its business scope includes battery leasing, the recycling and cascade utilization of decommissioned power batteries from new energy vehicles, and the operation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
