CoinWorld.net April 19 news: According to a post published by community user Ryan on the X platform, a user who claims to be affiliated with ShinyHunters posted on the hacker forum BreachForums that they are selling Vercel’s internal database, access keys, and source code, priced at approximately $2 million (with a starting bid of $500,000 equivalent in BTC). The post claims that the data contains sensitive information such as employee account permission levels, API keys, and NPM and GitHub tokens, and it also suggests it could be used for “supply chain attacks.” Related screenshots are believed to be from Vercel’s internal systems (including Linear and user management panels), showing fields such as user ID, email address, and administrator privileges.
It is reported that Vercel contacted the poster via Telegram to request that they stop approaching employees, indicating that direct communication has occurred between both parties.
