CoinWorld News reported that on April 19 (UTC+8), Midas announced that it has begun gradually restoring all standard minting and redemption services for mToken. While waiting for further communication from Aave and KelpDAO, it is expected that all issuance and redemption will return to normal operation before the end of the day.
Previously, affected by the rsETH incident, Midas stopped the LayerZero OFT cross-chain service today at 5:15 (Central European Time—22:15 yesterday). This was a standard response protocol to address market volatility and protect users’ interests. Midas said it will continue to monitor the situation and publish updates through official channels.
