According to a DL News report, Crypto World reports that a Korean forgery ring is selling fake official documents to users via Telegram, accepting cryptocurrency or digital gift cards as payment in priority. Among them, a forged Yonsei University diploma costs about $200, an admission certificate is priced at about $100, and a fake graduation certificate from an overseas university costs about $341. The report said the group also provides forged materials such as driver’s licenses, proof of family relationships, police clearance certificates, and bank loan documents. Korean police said that between 2021 and 2023, the number of people arrested in forgery cases almost doubled.
