CryptoWorld News reports that Axelar Network stated that hacking attacks and fund theft incidents can damage users' overall trust in blockchain systems and slow down the adoption process of its envisioned global ledger. Axelar expressed support for the LayerZero team in responding to this difficult situation and rebuilding trust. Regarding this approximately $290 million attack, Axelar pointed out that until the final forensic results are released, this incident once again highlights that secure cross-chain bridge construction requires multiple layers of protection, including safeguarding the operations of bridge operators, validators, and validation nodes, providing correct incentives and training, and removing validators who do not demonstrate technical capability; at the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the number of operators is sufficient, structurally heterogeneous, diverse, and geographically dispersed to prevent control by a single entity.
