Commuting and checking the market, I realize I am really timid: that small red figure showing unrealized losses can cause more insomnia than the same magnitude of unrealized gains. When making a profit, I default to “This is just normal,” but when losing, I start imagining the worst-case scenarios, unable to focus on the candlestick patterns, just wanting to quickly press the button to stop the pain... Basically, loss aversion is at play.

Recently, the group has been sharing news about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and rumors of “de-pegging,” even though my position isn’t large, my heartbeat still races a bit faster. Conversely, when prices genuinely rise, I stay pretty calm, even thinking “Let’s wait a bit longer to confirm.” In the future, I might need to be more rigid: write down stop-loss and exit conditions before entering, or else when emotions run high, I’ll be glued to my phone even while sleeping.
