Illegal individuals in South Korea are selling counterfeit documents to users through platforms like Telegram, including top university diplomas, enrollment certificates, and more, with prices as low as approximately 100 to 200 USD worth of cryptocurrency. The related certificates are claimed to be "indistinguishable from the originals," and even foreign university diplomas can be customized. Police stated that the number of forgery-related criminal cases has significantly increased in recent years, and some gangs prefer to use cryptocurrencies or digital gift cards for payments to evade regulation.
