Today the network is a bit congested, watching the mempool is like watching a supermarket checkout line: your transaction first stays in the "waiting room," miners/validators will pick the more attractive fee transactions to include in the block, if you offer a mediocre fee you'll keep waiting, and after a long wait, it might get bumped or stay "pending" for a long time. Anyway, I’m getting more and more patient now, I’d rather wait for it to confirm slowly than accidentally pay too much fee chasing those few minutes.

Why don’t I just accelerate it directly?
Because I’m not in a hurry, and if I am, I usually end up paying more in fees.

By the way, recently everyone’s been talking about rate cut expectations, the dollar index, and risk assets rising and falling together… During these times, emotions heat up, on-chain activity increases, and congestion becomes more frequent. Take it slow, save where you can, and first understand that transactions are just like queuing.
