Since moving to Jakarta, I no longer want to eat siomay, especially the ones sold by street vendors.


On average, Rp10,000–Rp15,000 gets you a serving of siomay.
I suspect they use mopani fish.
Mopani fish found in the rivers in Jakarta is not good for consumption.
