Islamabad security upgrade, plane carrying U.S. personnel arrives in Pakistan

Mars Finance News, April 19 — Security has been upgraded locally in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, with some shops closed, traffic restrictions in place, and increased security forces around several hotels. Pakistani sources said that on that day, three planes carrying U.S. personnel landed at Nur Khan Air Base. Currently, shops on both sides of the road connecting Islamabad and Nur Khan Air Base have closed, and security forces including military police have been deployed around several major hotels in the city. Meanwhile, the Serena Hotel and the nearby Marriott Hotel, where the previous round of U.S.-Iran negotiations took place, have notified guests to check out on that day. (Xinhua)
