《You’re always taking the blame for others, cutting your own meat》
Your trading, summed up, comes down to eight words: chase highs to take over, cut at lows. When others are making money, you’re not there; when you enter, they just happen to be about to leave. You’re like a bagholder who always shows up one step too late—standing on a high hilltop, watching the people below take the money out of your pocket. Then the price drops—you hold on for a long time, until you can’t hold on anymore, and you cut right on the floor. The chips you cut are bought back at low prices by those who left early. In this loop, you play two roles: the bagholder at the end of an upswing, and the money-giving kid at the end of a downswing. You send low-priced chips to others, and keep the high-priced chips for yourself. You’re not doing trading—you’re doing charity, and it’s the kind of charity that leaves no name behind. Even the market makers don’t know how to thank you. They can only tearfully take your money, and then hope you come back again next time. I’ve endured this cut—what about you?
I’m a gold-medal instructor, a teaching host dedicated to helping all chives learn how to trade!
