Deep Tide TechFlow News, on April 19th, Axelar Network issued a statement saying that hacking attacks and fund theft incidents damage users' overall trust in blockchain systems and slow down the adoption process of the envisioned global ledger. Axelar expressed support for the LayerZero team in responding to this difficult situation and rebuilding trust.

Regarding this approximately $290 million attack incident, Axelar pointed out that until the final investigation results are released, this event once again highlights that secure cross-chain bridge construction requires multiple layers of protection, including ensuring operational security for bridge operators, validators, and validation nodes, providing correct incentives and training, and removing validators who do not demonstrate technical capability; at the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the number of operators is sufficient, with a heterogeneous, diverse, and geographically dispersed structure, to prevent control by a single entity.
