Egyptian Foreign Minister discusses with foreign ministers of the Middle East four countries, calls for easing the situation

On April 1st, Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdel-Atti held a telephone consultation with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Durr, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad, and Bahraini Foreign Minister Zayani on the regional situation. According to Egyptian sources, the foreign ministers discussed the rapidly changing regional situation and emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to ease tensions. The Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed that further escalation of the situation would pose a serious threat to regional and international peace and security. Prioritizing de-escalation, diplomatic measures, and dialogue is the only way to prevent the region from falling into full-scale chaos. (CCTV News)
