🟢 Kelp DAO's cross-chain rsETH bridge was exploited, approximately 116,500 rsETH was withdrawn, worth about $292 million USD at current prices
🟢 The vulnerability involved contracts using LayerZero, and the hacker withdrew assets through the bridge
🟢 Kelp DAO has temporarily paused the main contracts to prevent further damage and is collaborating with LayerZero and Unichain to investigate
🟢 $AAVE has frozen rsETH transactions to prevent further risk spread and is checking for bad debts
🟢 According to analysis from D2 Finance, the root cause confirmed on-chain is due to a leaked private key on the source chain, leading to trust issues with the OApp nodes
