Guangzhou: Aiming to establish a modern infrastructure system by 2030

On April 2nd, the Guangzhou Development and Reform Commission issued a public notice seeking opinions on the “Guangzhou Modern Infrastructure Development ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ (Draft for Comments).” The goal is to establish a modern infrastructure system by 2030. The infrastructure network layout will be more complete, the system structure more optimized, service functions more comprehensive, integration and collaboration more efficient, and safety guarantees more reliable, providing a solid foundation for Guangzhou to build a world-class central city with both classic charm and contemporary vitality. Looking ahead to 2035, Guangzhou’s modern infrastructure system will achieve leapfrog development, realize comprehensive advancement and elevation, with deep integration across digitalization, networking, intelligence, and greening, and infrastructure operation efficiency, management precision, and collaborative assurance reaching top international standards.
