Chairman Wu Qing meets with Hong Kong SAR Government Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po and his delegation
On the afternoon of March 19, 2026, Wu Qing, Chairperson of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, met with visiting officials from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, including Financial Secretary Chen Maobo; Secretary for Financial Affairs and the Treasury Xu Zhengyu; Chief Executive Leung Fanny. He also met Yu Weiwen, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority; and Huang Tianyou, Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. The two sides exchanged views on topics including the current domestic and international economic and financial situation, further deepening practical cooperation between the two local capital markets during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, and supporting Hong Kong in continuously consolidating and enhancing its status as an international financial center.
