The entire 200-year Earth element cycle represented by Capricorn has come to an end. The wood and earth elements have historically been in Taurus, Capricorn, and Virgo, but now we are fully entering the future 200-year wind element grand cycle. At the end of 2020, the wood and earth conjunction occurred in Aquarius, and Pluto in Aquarius began entering Aquarius at the end of 2024, marking the official start of the wind era. By 2026, all slow-moving planets have completed their transitions, and wind energy fully dominates.
In this grand environment, there is a huge conflict between Earth and wind thinking, and this is not simply disharmony but a generational war of the underlying logic of civilization. Currently, society is in a fierce transition and clash between these two ways of thinking. When facing the same people and things, many hold completely different viewpoints, filled with contradictions and tearing. Many feel confused and cannot understand; the root cause lies here.
Earth thinking and wind thinking are fundamentally opposed at their core, and the chaos now exposed is actually a battle between the two. So you will notice a strange phenomenon: the same event is interpreted very differently by many people. Earth-oriented people understand the world as reality, material, results, responsibility, and control. Wind-oriented people see the world as concepts, networks, trends, change, and breakthroughs.
The current opposition lies in one side seeking authority and the other advocating decentralization. Earth: listen to parents, follow leaders, abide by rules. Wind: whoever is right, listens to them; in the face of information, everyone is equal, speak based on ability.
In societal expression, official public opinion and grassroots opinion are tearing apart; the credibility of traditional authority is rapidly declining. Young people no longer blindly trust credentials, status, or titles. Earth types prefer buying houses, savings, careers, gold—things that are visible and tangible for a sense of security. Wind types prefer traffic, data, IP, algorithms, cognition—more valuable than houses.
Conflicts arise because the older generation insists on working hard for a lifetime in one job, one city, one identity, while wind types pursue multiple careers, remote work, freedom, cross-industry moves, and changing tracks at any time.
The most severe conflict is between parents and children over career choices—completely opposite. Companies lay off workers, industries collapse, and Earth’s sense of security is shattered.
Earth prioritizes the collective, obeys the big picture, sacrifices the individual; wind values individual worth, self-fulfillment, spiritual freedom, and rejects PUA (Pick-Up Artist) culture. This is the fundamental generational value split. Earth’s survival rules are turning into traps in the wind era. The more you pursue stability, the easier you are to be systematized or replaced. The more you trust authority, the more vulnerable to information gaps. Relying on physical assets makes you more susceptible to virtual economy shocks. Clinging to experience makes you vulnerable to AI and new logic. Meanwhile, wind types are also anxious—free but anxious, connected but lonely, overwhelmed by information yet lacking security. Opportunities seem everywhere, but the thresholds are high, leading to the pain of the older generation, the inability of young people to cope, and the most painful middle layer.
This conflict will not end quickly; it will last for decades. Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini will prolong this tearing because the old system will not die immediately. It will struggle, resist, tighten. The new system will not stabilize instantly; it will be chaotic, trial-and-error, and restructured. The next ten to twenty years will be a chaotic period where the old order withdraws and the new order cannot yet be established.
This is the civilization pain caused by the switch of the 200-year grand cycle. You see the visible tearing of material civilization—industry collapse, employment chaos, wealth gap, intergenerational conflict, extreme public opinion, trust breakdown. This is a major reshuffle of material, rule, and power worlds. But even more chaotic is the invisible tearing of spiritual civilization—what makes people despair, nihilism, insomnia, anxiety. This is the deepest internal wound. Among all spiritual fractures, they ultimately lead to one outlet: the tearing of love.
Why is love the deepest pain in spiritual civilization? Because love is the only adhesive in the human spiritual world. The underlying logic of Earth and wind views on love is completely different, which causes a forced clash when these two logics are put together. When understanding is on different levels, love cannot survive; even the deepest feelings will gradually fade away. This is the most unspeakable pain of this Earth-Wind transition period.
Dimensional mismatch makes people firmly believe that you simply do not love me. Earth and wind love in their highest forms, but in the eyes of the other, it’s worth nothing.
Chaos, confusion, pain in reality and spirit are the trends of this Earth-Wind transition era. But awakening opportunities also brew and explode amid extreme pain. One thing is certain: those who still live with Earth thinking in the wind era will suffer continuously and be eliminated. To smoothly pass this transition cycle, deep learning of rules is the only way to break through and heal. Without understanding the rules behind chaos, one can only be repeatedly hurt emotionally, misaligned in relationships, and crushed by the times.
Surface chaos, underlying rules—if you don’t understand the rules, you will mistake the problems of the era for your own issues, see civilization’s tearing as personal misfortune, and dimensional mismatches as a lack of love from others. But once you understand the rules, you won’t doubt yourself emotionally, won’t waste energy internally, won’t be anxious about reality, and will go with the flow. For the spirit, you won’t tear apart; inner harmony will be restored. Deeply learning the rules behind chaos allows you to successfully navigate the grand cycle of the era’s transition.
