India has appointed a new ambassador to China. During a routine press conference on the 20th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian responded to questions and said that envoys are important bridges for developing friendly and cooperative relations between countries. “I noticed that this ambassador has already given himself a Chinese name, Wei Jiameng,” Lin Jian said. China welcomes India’s new ambassador to China, Wei Jiameng, and is willing to facilitate his duties in China.
